Tip Tuesday - Microsoft Planner

It's Tip Tuesday another one for all tracking your tasks! We looked at Trello a few weeks ago, last week it was MS packages, this week adds neatly onto both of these.

Included in the Microsoft Business 365 packages is an app call planner. Planner is the MS equivalent to Trello.

Planner integrates with MS Teams making having joint projects or tasks easy to track. So lets say you deal with initial enquiries and once you have cleared your tasks a colleague then needs to do their bits. In Planner this is really easy, you create a task, you enter all the steps needed either on one task card or across multiple. You tick off your parts as you go, when you are ready to hand over to a colleague you can simply assign them to the task card. They will get a notification that this has happened and away they go ticking off all their parts. All of this is visible to anyone with access to the plan, or in the Team that you have created the plan within.

Planner is a collaboration tool that most of you will already have access to either through your employer or your MS package. Why not give it a try? You never know it might just revolutionise your work flow!
