Tip Tuesday - Introduction to Trello
It's Tip Tuesday one for all the list makers today, or people that struggle to keep on top of their ever expanding tasks.
Did you know that there are tools you can use to get all your tasks/to do items down in one place?
Why is this great? It means gone are the days of bits of paper and lists floating around thinking "I know I wrote that down somewhere" you can keep all your tasks and any relating notes or documents in one place. When you complete a task you simply mark it complete. You get a history of your tasks, meaning you no longer have to remember what you have done and when! You can simply move the tasks in the app and hey presto you have your own audit trail of when you have cleared tasks off!
There are many great services, but lets start with Trello, all you need to do is go to www.trello.com to get started. You will need to create login details, from there you can create your own "board" this is where you pop your lists. You can create multiple boards, but lets just stick with one for you to start with. Create your board, from here this is where you compile your tasks into lists. The handy set up guide on the website will get you up and running. Keep an eye for future weeks posts for more tips on how to make you more efficient along with other alternative apps!
